Too Late, Panther King Episode 1

Series details

Cat princess Fiona gives eight of her nine lives and exhausts her powers to help leopard prince Victor secure his throne. After ten years of marriage and two children, Victor betrays her with Lilith, a vengeful cheetah concubine, repeatedly humiliating Fiona and favoring his mistress. Heartbroken but clear-eyed, Fiona silently gathers evidence of Victor's infidelity while waiting seven days for their magical marriage contract to dissolve. On their tenth anniversary, she fakes her death with her children and escapes. At the celebration, Victor is publicly humiliated when Fiona's gift reveals his affair. Then comes news of her "death"—Victor collapses in grief. Fiona starts a new life running a tavern in a neutral city. Lion King Damon, who has long loved her secretly, appears to protect and gently heal her. With her children's encouragement, Fiona eventually opens her heart to Damon's sincere devotion. Victor, consumed by guilt upon learning Fiona sacrificed eight lives for him, spirals into alcoholism and ruins his kingdom. When he finally discovers she's alive and rushes to win her back, Fiona is already engaged to Damon. Victor loses everything—his wife, children, kingdom, and sanity—condemned to lifelong regret.
