Too Late to Cry: The Commander's Regret Episode 1

Series details

For five years, I believed I was the luckiest woman in Northport: a gifted trauma surgeon married to Victor Sterling, the city's powerful commander. I saved his life and trusted him with my family. Then his first love Sylvia returned. Victor covered up the crash that killed my mother, threatened my sister to force me to save Sylvia's mother, and ruined the hand I used to hold a scalpel. When my sister died, so did my love for him. I made him sign our divorce papers without reading them. Ten days later, I left with Quentin Press, the pharmaceutical heir whose offer I had refused five years ago, and rebuilt my life in Metropolis. The evidence I preserved exposed Sylvia's crimes and Victor's abuse of power. He lost his rank, his family, and his pride, then crossed cities begging me to return. But regret came too late. I would never be his replacement again. While he burned with the past he created, I stepped into the sunlight beside the man who had always believed in me.
