Series details

"The Truth at Midnight" Cinderella thought her luck had finally changed the night she slipped on the glass slipper. First life: her stepsister cut off her toes to fit the shoe. The prince married her—she died. Second life: her other stepsister sliced her heel. The prince married her—she died too. Third life: the stepmother finally handed over Cinderella. The shoe fit perfectly. The prince smiled—and killed her. As she bled out, Cinderella finally understood: the prince was never looking for the woman who fit the slipper. He was hunting the woman who danced with him that night and uncovered his secret. The real prince was long dead. The man on the throne was a demon in disguise—and he would kill anyone who threatened his claim to the kingdom. Three lives. Three deaths. Cinderella opened her eyes again. ——He didn't kill me because the shoe didn't fit. He killed me because I saw what I wasn't supposed to see.
