Why Won't My Beast Husbands Leave? Episode 1

Series details

In a beast-world where females rule over males, Rosalie Bennet, a woman who dies in a zombie apocalypse and wakes up in the body of a cruel, obese noblewoman in a world of beastmen shifters. The original Rosalie was notorious for kidnapping handsome beastmen, drugging them, and abusing them. Now, the new Rosalie inherits five beastmen who despise her—and she is immediately cast out of her tribe by her own mother. Armed with only a system that provides occasional pills (at a cost), a hundred copper coins, and her survival skills from the apocalypse, Rosalie must rebuild her life from nothing. She starts a food stall in the city bazaar, using her modern cooking knowledge to create dishes the beast world has never seen—pork stew, clay-roasted "Erratic Poultry" (beggar's chicken), sweet and sour pork, and more. Her food becomes legendary, drawing crowds and earning silver. But the story is driven by the slow, painful, and deeply emotional process of Rosalie earning the trust—and eventually the love—of her five beastmen: · Leon, the cold black panther who is the first to realize she is not the same woman and falls in love with her. · Micah, the frail white snake whose gentle devotion masks a possessive, obsessive love. · Declan, the proud dragon shifter who plans to manipulate her but instead finds himself genuinely falling for her. · Cameron, the playful nine-tailed fox who struggles with his conflicted feelings. · Elijah, the scarred peacock who hates her most of all—and is the hardest to reach. As Rosalie builds her business, expands her home, and takes in strays (a lost wolf cub, an orphaned moon fox, a bear beastman survivor), she also faces escalating threats from her jealous sister Reva, mysterious masked raiders, and the shadowy forces connected to Declan's draconic heritage.
