Wolf King, No More — Miss Harmon Got Married Episode 1

Series details

Human girl Lily Harmon, desperate for funds to pay for her grandmother Rose's heart surgery, enters Blackwood Manor as a maid. Ethan Blackwood, the current Wolf King and president of the Blackwood Corporation, is struck by Lily's striking resemblance to his deceased mother, Eleanor, upon their first meeting. He agrees to pay for the surgery and enters into a five-year contract with Lily. At the manor, Lily unexpectedly encounters her former lover, Ryan Cole—the man who saved her five years ago but lost his memory in a car accident. Ryan feels a sense of familiarity with Lily, but Lily, bound by her contract, suppresses her emotions and pretends to be a stranger. Ethan's uncle, Victor Blackwood, then arrives with the werewolf noblewoman Diana Voss, pressuring the council of elders with an arranged marriage. Ethan, under pressure for the throne, pushes Lily away but secretly protects her multiple times in his youthful form. Lily gradually realizes that the youthful man and Ethan are the same person, and their relationship deepens amidst this tug-of-war. However, Victor arranges for Ethan to witness Ryan and Lily's intimacy, deepening misunderstandings and drastically worsening their relationship. Victor secretly plots to murder Rose, who is recovering in the hospital, and fabricates evidence to frame Ethan. Lily obtains this "evidence," her last shred of trust in Ethan crumbles, and she angrily breaks off their relationship. Lily's body, weakened by the second termination of her contract, rapidly deteriorates, causing her heart to fail. She dies with resentment after hearing news of her grandmother's death. Unexpectedly, she awakens a year later to find that she was saved by the man who had given her a loaf of bread years ago. Ethan then embarks on a long journey to win her back.
