Series details

Emma Coulson, the daughter of the Coulson family, was abandoned in a village at a young age. When she was five, she saved a gravely injured boy, Daniel Elliot, and the two made a promise to marry each other when they grew up. Twenty years later, Emma agreed to marry into the powerful Chester family of Souvenia, taking her stepsister's place in order to search for both the Canon of Medicine and Daniel. Unbeknownst to her, Brandon Chester, the man she was going to marry, was actually Daniel Elliot. At his age of seven, Daniel was forced to assume a new identity due to his malicious uncle. Growing up under the name Brandon, he was arranged to marry Emma by Madam Susan. Still harboring feelings for his childhood savior, he treated Emma coldly. Both Emma and Daniel remain devoted to their first loves, unaware that they have already married the very person they’ve been longing for. Thus began their life as a bickering yet fated couple, filled with quarrels and unexpected moments of joy...
