Year 1001 in Cryosleep Episode 1

Series details

Biologist Naomi wakes from cryosleep aboard the colony ship New Hope, told she has slept for 1,000 years en route to planet Chronos. Through a tiny reflection, she uncovers a brutal lie: only her hibernation cycle was altered by Captain Drake and geologist Elena, who plotted to lock her away for a millennium to steal her vital interstellar biological research position. Armed with dual degrees in biology and system programming, Naomi secretly rewrites the ship’s cryo-control core, hides evidence, and outmaneuvers the two schemers. When the ship reaches its destination three years later, she awakens all colonists and exposes their conspiracy. The story stretches across centuries on the red planet Chronos. Naomi builds the first human ecosystem, leads scientific teams, and witnesses generations of settlers grow up. Her rivals face long-term confinement; she chooses justice over vengeance, devoting her life to building a new home. Her legacy endures for ten thousand years, preserved in relics and a single ancient tree that outlives all civilizations.
