Your Regret Is a Joke Episode 1

Series details

Summer came from a poor family; her father was a gambling addict, and her grandmother was seriously ill. During university, to raise money for medical expenses and pay off gambling debts, she was forced into a sugar daddy relationship with Lucas, a wealthy heir. For five years, she endured Lucas's public humiliation, emotional abuse, and his unrequited love for his first love, Stella. On the day she became pregnant, she overheard Lucas call her a "people-pleaser, someone I'll dump when I'm done playing with her." Later, Stella, in a drunken argument, pushed her, causing a miscarriage. Heartbroken, Summer decisively moved out and blocked all contact. Lucas went from shock to despair, desperately trying to win her back but was repeatedly rejected. At this low point in her life, Summer met the gentle professor Stella—the son of her grandmother's old friend—who rebuilt her trust in love with respect and patience. When Lucas bumped into Summer's married family at a shopping mall and witnessed his daughter calling Stella "Dad," he was utterly devastated. Meanwhile, Summer had already moved on from her past and embraced a new life of equality and dignity. Key Highlight: On the day she became pregnant, she overheard her boyfriend's cold laugh: "I'll just dump you when I'm done playing with you." Five years of forbearance didn't bring her love, but rather the humiliation of her beloved returning, and the bloody truth of a shoved man leading to a miscarriage. Heartbroken, she left, blocking the scumbag and turning to a gentle professor—he didn't speak sweet words, but simply prepared hand warmers during her period and, during arguments, would hug her first, saying, "Let's not talk about it anymore." When the scumbag Lucas finally repented and desperately tried to win her back, she was already married with children, and her daughter called someone else "Dad." They met again at the mall, and he watched helplessly as she nestled in her new family, smiling radiantly, her coffee cup shattering on the floor. The once high-and-mighty rich second-generation heir couldn't win her over, while she had already emerged from the abyss, living her most dignified life. The plot twists are frequent, with constant emotional climaxes: from a "pandering girlfriend" to a "clear-headed heroine," from the despair of miscarriage to the happiness of new life, the scumbag's mad remorse couldn't win her even a glance. The video is packed with powerful hooks: pregnancy test results vs. eavesdropping in a bar, blood-stained pajama bottoms vs. empty eyes under operating lights, anonymous bouquets vs. being thrown into the trash—every frame is a high-energy scene interwoven with thrills and tears.
