Series details

Eleanor, the power‑holding chief of Water Capital, hides her true identity and works as a chef to support her husband Julian’s startup, secretly funding his company. On their third wedding anniversary, she delivers food and catches Julian cheating with Carrie. She is publicly humiliated and forced to sign divorce papers. Eleanor immediately pulls all her investment, leaving Julian without funding or a place to live. Refusing to accept defeat, Julian steals Eleanor’s manor design proposal and uses it under his own name to secure financing. Eleanor exposes his fraud at the award ceremony. Later, he colludes with hostile capital forces to steal Water Capital’s core data. Eleanor sets a trap to preserve all evidence and has him and his accomplices brought to justice. Julian is sentenced to 18 years in prison, and Carrie gets 8 years. Eleanor reclaims her achievements, returns the liquidated technologies to the original R&D team, and sets up a fund to support women entrepreneurs, finally moving on from this toxic marriage.
